1. The service

Hostbook is a self-serve tool that turns the facts you supply about one short-term-rental property — welcome note, access details, house rules, your own local picks, getting-around notes, and emergency info — into a print-ready welcome guidebook PDF and a private hosted page on this domain. We email you a preview link and the hosted URL once generation completes. You decide how to share it.

2. Host-anchored fact constraint

Hostbook’s generator is constrained to compose around the facts you supply. It does not invent or enrich local information. If a section feels thin to you after generation, that’s because the facts you submitted were thin — the model will not add a place, service, or claim you did not provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of the facts you supply, including emergency numbers, hospital and urgent-care names, transit notes, house rules, and access details.

3. Your submissions

You represent that the property and access details you submit are for a property you have the authority to host on, and that the facts you supply are accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not submit highly sensitive personal information, payment card numbers outside Stripe Checkout, or third-party confidential material you are not authorized to share.

4. Pricing, delivery, and refunds

The current listed price for one guidebook is $19 unless a different price is shown at checkout. Delivery normally occurs through the order dashboard and a preview email after payment clears, typically within a minute.

Refunds are granted automatically from your dashboard on two verifiable conditions. First, if our system flagged your guidebook as a generation failure (we could not produce a guidebook from the facts you supplied after retries), you can refund through the dashboard for 90 days from the order date. Second, if our logs show you never opened the dashboard or downloaded the PDF after delivery, you can refund through the dashboard for 30 days from delivery. In any other case, email hostbook@forage.bot and we will work it out case-by-case; refunds outside these two conditions are discretionary except where non-waivable law requires otherwise. Refund processing is automated through Stripe and typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days. Refunds also take the hosted page down immediately. Any printed PDF copies in circulation cannot be recalled.

5. AI limitations

The service uses automated systems and third-party AI providers. Guidebook text is composed around the facts you supply. Outputs can still be awkward or miss the mark. You should preview the guidebook in your dashboard before sharing the hosted URL with guests or printing the PDF.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Hostbook to deceive guests, distribute illegal content, or impersonate another host. Do not submit access details for a property you do not have authority to host. We may take any hosted page down at our discretion if it appears to violate these terms.

7. License to output

Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, you may share, print, and distribute the delivered guidebook to your guests. We retain all rights in the service itself, including the site, prompts, software, and operating methods.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hostbook is provided “as is” without warranties, and our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. Hostbook is not responsible for guest safety, property damage, or any consequence arising from inaccurate facts you supplied — including incorrect emergency phone numbers, hospital names, or access details.
